Hot Springs, a fascinating place to travel, is full of numerous things to do. A wonderful resort city. It offers thermal bathing, a national park, three beautiful lakes, theme parks, a number of festivals, racetracks, and much more! Hot Springs was made the first Federal Reservation in 1832 by President Andrew Jackson. This was the first park in America protected for future generations. Hot Spring's national park is very unique in that it is right in the middle of a resort city.

One of the most relaxing things that Hot Springs has to offer is thermal bathing. Thermal bathing facilities are offered in many of the downtown locations. Hot Springs offers three great lakes surrounding the city. They include Lake Hamilton, Lake Catherine and Lake Ouachita. From fishing to water sports, one is sure to have a great time on the crystal clear blue waters of the Hot Spring's lakes. Also in the city is the ancient Ouachita Mountains. Which is the home of the Mountain Tower where you can see a distance of 70 miles in all directions. Since 1877, the Mountain Tower has been the Hot Springs landmark. Hot Springs is also the home of the many festivals including The Miss Arkansas Pageant, Oktoberfest, Healthfest, Arkansas Festival of the Arts, and Holiday in the Park. Come enjoy endless excitement or relaxation in the wonderful city of Hot Springs.
